Ingredients:
- Dates, deseeded/ Date paste – 1 cup
- Tamarind/lemon juice/Dry mango powder – 2 tablespoons
Spices:
- Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
- Red chili powder – ½ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
Liquids:
- Water – 4 to 5 cups
Method:
- Take date paste, tamarind, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt to taste in a grinding jar. Grind all of them into the fine paste.
- Add 4 to 5 cups of water in the chutney depending on the consistency of your choice.
- Preserve it in a tightly closed bottle and keep it in the freezer.
Remove the bottle 30 minutes prior to use.
