Cooking Instructions:
- Rinse and soak mung beans in 2 cups of water for 12 to 24 hours. Make sure to change the water every 10-12 hours.
- Rinse the soaked mung beans again. There are multiple ways to sprout the beans. The whole idea is to let the soaked beans breathe air through the holes. Both air and mild moisture are needed for sprouting without rotting smell. In hot weather they sprout faster than in colder climates. Usually, it takes 12-72 hours for the beans to sprout.
- Put the soaked beans in a jar covered with a lid which has many tiny holes.
- Cover the jar with thin cloth or sieve strainer.
